S-Peria Hotel Kyoto

Efficient business location was a plus.

when i am in kyoto, i like staying here. all good, everything you need for the trip. i greatly enjoyed amiable and pretty friendly personnel that ensures guests have a really comfortable stay. make sure to get twin room with the bedroom. the location is good, near train station.

there were central heating, a personal safe, and flat-screen tv in the room, greatly enjoyed that. a tub in the clean bathroom was super awesome. our accommodation was set in an efficient business location right by train station and bus stop and a tourist area and center of attraction.

It is in magnificent location to a cyprus-wood castle, set close to the hotel. The staff is being friendly. The rooms are brand-new with exceptionally comfortable beds and smoke detectors.

I loved the spacious Standard Twin Room with comfortable beds. The air conditioning kept everything cool. Staff were attentive and very helpful. The on-site baths provided a great way to relax after sightseeing. Breakfast had a wide variety of great options 😊

A clean, modern space with a lovely bath and cute staff. The public bath was a wonderful way to relax after exploring. Conveniently located near transportation, getting around the area was seamless. While breakfast could use more western options, the overall experience was nice and satisfying.

Request a room away from the street noise for a more peaceful stay, especially if you're a light sleeper.

Great shower experience, but the check-in process was quite uncomfortable.

The room was compact but comfy, typical for many places in Japan. I loved that it was cleaned every day. The beds were the best I've slept on during my trip! The bathroom setup was nice too. I had some trouble fully opening my suitcase, though, since there wasn't a ton of space. But overall, it was a lovely spot to rest after exploring!

The breakfast variety was good, with both local and western dishes. The helpful staff ensured we felt right at home throughout our stay.

Oh, the sandwiches and culinary gems near S-Peria were a total delight! Miki Okonomiyaki is awesome for that savory Japanese pancake experience, and the cozy vibes make it a spot to linger. Plus, the friendly staff at the hotel really elevate your stay-it's all about that classic omotenashi!

While the mattresses were a bit too soft for my tastes, and the rooms felt snug, the warmth of Kyoto's hospitality totally made up for it. Just keep the A/C handy if things get steamy!

The hotel was super convenient for exploring the nearby aquarium and railway museum. Staff was friendly, and breakfast had a great mix of local and western foods. The room was comfy with a nice bathroom setup, which worked out perfectly for us.

The bedding was thicker than I expected for summer, even with the AC on. But everything else was great.

We loved the spacious twin room with its cozy armchairs, and the buffet breakfasts had something for everyone, from sushi to pancakes! The onsen was also a fantastic way to unwind after a long day of exploring. Just a heads up, the hotel isn't right in the middle of things, but it's easily accessible if you plan ahead 🏨
